  1. Very nice. But I think you need to stump up for a new motor support bracket. Looks terrible next to the shiny new toy.
  2. By the way, the name of the actual beach is Garners Beach. If anyone is ever up that way it’s definitely worth a look. It’s the only place I know of where you can sit on the sand, right next to the water under a huge shady tree and fish.
  3. Ah. Well now Hamish. You may finally have won. I was going to ask for the name of the actual beach but that might be pushing it too far. Over to you.
  4. Oh, and there is a bilge pump which I believe is automatic. It also has a manual switch on the dash which I pushed to check and you could hear the bilge pump kick in, which was loud enough for me to know that it wasn’t on before.
  5. Hi Aussie, I’m not sure what to do. The boat dealer seems to think it is quite possible that they have discharged with the isolator switch left on. Not sure why. For background it was about a month since my last trip and I probably spent around two and a half hours in the boat in the garage in that time. I have had the gps/sounder on during that time learning how to use it and putting marks in. I also had the stereo on for about an hour total. cheers Greg O
  6. Hi Aussie, I have them charged now and the isolator turned off. I will keep an eye on things over the next couple of weeks. If it happens again I will certainly look into it further. cheers Greg O
  7. No, no, no and no. Now you’re just naming every beach on the way north Hamish. Lol
  8. Well, it is north of Townsville but I think we need to be a bit more specific! Lol
  9. Hi bicter, There’s only the one motor but I wouldn’t like to try to pull start it. It’s a 200hp 4.6L V8. cheers Greg O
  10. Hi Ray, Yes, the isolator was turned to both. There are certain electronic pieces in the boat which are always lit up, albeit small blue LEDs, such as the USB charging ports in the glovebox. cheers Greg
  11. Let me know if people are sick of trying to guess this one
  12. Thanks mate. I’ll check it out sometime.
  13. Yes. As I said. Chaos. I obviously never got out of the river but I imagine the normal boat parking areas like Mud and Harry Atkinson must have been teeming with boats.
