    500m from the shack to the boat ramp.... 9km from the ramp to the snapper hot-spot..... Got there and ......... no rods....🤮
     
    My fault....(well , I am getting old....) had to go back and get them...... but we did then get snapper....

    Another dill forgot his whole tackle bag that was to supply two people. Remembered it half way to the Gold Coast, so had to get emergency supplies from Gem, which I'm pretty sure aren't the cheapest tackle retailer in SEQ.
    We did alright on the fishing just like you though, so may consider this new technique in the future. haha
