Nothing ! is funny about PETA
  2. Mod Note Legal Size for Coral Trout and Redthroat Emperor is 38cm minimum. Whilst I can see there is some doubt as to the size of the Coral trout with the angle on the mat etc I think there is little doubt a couple of the redthroat are undersize. Due to the nature of this type of fishing I concede there are inherent difficulties in sizing your capture before killing them, however erring on the conservative side seems the best way to avoid making a mistake, thus helping to ensure plenty for next time. Members, it has now been said so let's leave it alone for the rest of the thread.
  3. He's looking a bit cleaner than last time we saw him, Davey :side:
  4. We made it a ritual in the old days when heading off on a few days away fishing the fresh to always grab some KFC on the way. It makes great shrimp bait. Have never tried a tender breast on a hook though.
  5. Well fed on cats-for-disposal ? :pinch:
  6. I've just updated those lost pics from page 11. Loving this dog thread. Thanks to everyone posting. Some real beauties Here's a funny series I thought I'd share too

I heard they "recaptured" only 19 of them and the twentieth is believed to be flogging tackle somewhere in Australia...

Didn't quite know where to put this so decided I'd tack it onto this one.... I went out and joined the family in front of the TV tonight. It was an add break. I sat down and asked what we were watching. My Kitchen Rules was the reply. Ugghhh, what else is on I ask. Then the add break finishes and I look up and see Henry on there with another man  :woohoo: :silly:  Turned out it wasn't really him, but does Henry have a sister ?

After experiencing the discomfort and embarrassment of a prostate test on the National Health Service, a friend of mine decided to have his next test carried out while visiting in Thailand where the beautiful nurses are rather more gentle and accommodating. As usual he was asked to strip off, he lay naked on his side on the bed and the nurse began the examination. "At this stage of the procedure it's quite normal to get an erection" said the nurse. "I haven't got an erection" said the man. "No, but I have" replied the nurse.
  13. www.coastwatch.com.au for weather forecast/conditions. They also have those generalised reports you're talking about. You can always ask on here if you're targeting something specific like squid and someone will respond if they have been out. Not everyone reports every trip they make but are usually happy to answer a question like that. Seabreeze is alright for a preview.

I'd never have picked he was an Asian from that accent :silly:   Note: This is a joke about the false theory that all people with full buckets of fish are Asian. It is not a joke about Asians.
  16. Forget emery paper in a water environment. Get yourself a little wire brush.

  19. No teacher like experience, Greg. Preventative maintenance wont stop everything. Annual servicing has not helped me at all. 2008 BRC I put in at Colmslie straight from the annual service. Motor was only running on 1 cylinder. Similar with the Merc - the oil line decided to get blocked after 19 years of working fine.....700 metres later - POP! Another thing to abide is never use Ethanol fuels in a 2 stroke.

  21. Also, it is quite possible that she is responsible for that edge work on the grass
  22. I've showed Dusty the pic and he seems interested. Are you sure you're gonna have her fixed ? Good looking pup, Kriso !
  23. Back to the early genetics with that cross Kev. They used pugs in the original mixes to get the first English Bulldogs. I bet it's a grunter  Trying hard to be brindle too - nice dog. With all these bull breeds we'll have to start a fight club so we can put nasty films on youtube and do some serious trash talking
  24. He was the 2nd last and smallest. The other was black (white chest) and was mine and the oldest son's pick. The wife thought this one looked like Eric and was tearing up so we let her have the call. Happy with him now. Would love to breed the pair as I reckon the next generation would be even better looking.....but I think it's too much hassle, and can't have 3  I think the other one would be well gone by now. We got Dusty late April.
