They were on special a few months back so I grabbed one as I am doing a lot of casting. Where the upright axle goes into the floor receiver is where its a little wobbly, I fix this by placing both feet on the cross thwart seat in front of me.

I already have one , havnt been game enough to get back on it yet, they are a little wobbly.

Yeah its slowly improving 5 months next week, still gets sore when on uneven ground or standing or walking to long. Just like to have a whinge makes me feel better

When I returned to the ramp I was joined for the walk up to the car by a scrub turkey.He was half a meter beside me all the way, before I left I gave him some dog pellets, which he gobbled up and lookedat me for more. On the fishing side I managed 35 bass and 3 yellas all on spinnerbaits casting.Now paying the price for to much standing up in the boat with my new knee. Dino

Rain and overcast conditions are my friend at the moment while I am casting most of the time.I am either casting to the bank and slow rolling the lure back or I am casting blind in any direction while staying in around 8 to 12ft and slow rolling backover the ribbon weed.Bass and yellas sit in the ribbon weed that is about a foot long.It amazes me sometimes watching my lure return to see this flash of silver come from out of nowhere and attack it, boy they can move fast. It was a case of invade the fishes territory while they were trying to evade me.Something turned them off yesterday,maybe to much sun and not enough overcast for the style of fishing I have been doing.Trolled all the way down the dam for nothing, then managed 32 and 2 yellas casting spinnerbaits before picking up one trolling home, tough day. Ha ha 2 of my sons play golf now and then, but I have never been interested at all.Same as cricket,they would punish me at school by making me play cricket when I played up instead of swimming.

Its what makes a happy marriage, she askes me are you fishing tomorrow and when I say yes she says good I can get some work done in the house.

Although I am not a sounder player I still watch it like a hawk to find schools or single fish, I was going to update to a side image sounder, but my mate told me to pick bass up clearly I would need to start at 1000 bucks.So although I have the moola I cant see me getting any more fish than I do now.

There never used to be any lures over 15 bucks until Jackal come on the scene, they started at 29.95 and it didnt take long for everyone else to start putting their prices up.

Fishing reports seem to be a bit scarce lately, so I had better do my bit. Ran into Joe at the ramp couple of days a go, who sells lures .long story short I purchased 2 for 20 bucks, a red one and a purple one.Red one outfished the purple this morning 5 to 3.They are J & M LURES. All up this morning managed 43 bass and a 55cm yella, using hardbodies trolling and casting spinnerbaits to the edges. Dino

Yes I would have liked to tag it, but I have given the tagging away for the last 2 years as Suntag have the shits with PRFMA and they wont let us tag bass in our names. Dino

Braved the wind yesterday and glad I did,it was a good session.First fish was a yella on a frenzy hardbody, then stopped off at spot one for 30 bass.Headed off then for some jigging , casting and trolling.Managed to get to 71 bass and 2 yellas overall with one yella over the 50cm mark.Some days are diamonds, some are sxxt. Good to see ya back this morning, I headed off in the other direction in case I got hit with a stray cast should of took my chances as it was quite up the top end only got 11

Headed out saturday even though it was raining, I like the first day of rain and it didnt let me down, 52 bass and 4 yellas, trolling casting and jigging. Not quite as good yesterday only managed 36 bass and no yellas mainly trolling and casting, mixed it up a bit with some different lures.I like to grab a couple of lures off the rack at home and give them a run just so they dont get jealous.Some from yesterday. So if they catch you with a line in your hand when not allowed between those times, how do you catch bass.

Luke had the day off so I showed him what I do on my day off.We managed to extract fish from the edges and from out in the deep,got them casting, trolling and jigging.Last fish caught we were on our way home when I noticed a log on the bottom in about 20ft of water with several fish suspended at 10ft over it,I said to Luke make a cast way back there, count to 10 then slow wind back.Well on about the third wind of the reel he got whacked and he started screaming and yelling oh and he got a little excited to and landed a nice yella, then I got a bass followed by another yella.Twas a good morning getting 44 bass and 3 yellas.Lukes first fish surprised him he hadnt quite woken up.Also had a few double hookups. I got a bit of a shock while trolling down the dam, I could not believe the amount of fish I was seeing on the sounder.Lately the fish have been scattered and I have been fishing the edges.I managed to get 56 bass and 3 yellas trolling,jigging and casting,good to see the jigging finally coming back.Then chased home by the heat at 10am.
