Hey mate, did you see any big squid around there? thanks for the report.
  4. Sounds like a great day out on the bay, and a great dinner to finish a perfect day off...
  5. Nice report mate, and Congrats on your first... I've got my holidays coming up in a couple of weeks and your report is wetting my appetite for getting back out, I haven't wet a line since Christmas, so can't wait... oh yeah great pics too cheers
  6. Hey guys thanks for your feedback... Still no go, tried all options I can do at home, I might just have to take it to someone with a big ice freezer, and hope that works. thanks again.

  10. Hi Guys, I've been flat out and really haven't done much fishing recently, and the trips I have done, haven't been anything to brag about, so I haven't posted anything for a while... BUT I just purchased a Daiwa Seajigger SJ325h and was wondering if anyone has got one. I bought mine stuck together and thought I will be able to give it some elbow crease at home, but she is stuck... I was wondering if anyone can tell me which end is the male end, so that I can send some lube down the female end... Any help would be greatly appreciated... cheers Mick
  11. Hey Guys, I'm looking to buy or swap a Alvey 650c5 reel for a Daiwa Sea Jigger 315 or 305 Rod... These rods aren't sold in Shops any more as they have a new model replacing them, I used one a couple of months back and loved it... So if you have one sitting around collecting dust and would like a Alvey reel which has just been serviced and feels like new just let me know... Cheers Mick

  13. Hey Matt, firstly welcome to the site mate. best of luck with the plastics fishing, seems hard at first but the more you use them the better you get, and when you start getting onto fish with them the harder it is to leave the plastics out of a fishing sesh. If I go out specifically targeting flathead soft plastics is all I use, so the more you use them the more you will recognize the techniques that works for you. there is heaps of info on this site for you to get you started. enjoy the site mate Mick
