I would probably get the rod with the heavier weight rating so you will be able to put some more power on the reefies with a tighter drag.

Lots of reef fish like snapper can be caught and you can catch fish like mackerel and tuna too. -
I actually counted the dark bits in between the lighter parts as they were easier to see - probably a fair bit of luck though!
