Flathead Classic on the Gold Coast

hey guys...

i am keen on entering the flatty classic... as it seems thats all i can realy catch on sp's ... its in december this year though im not realy sure of the entrance fee. im gessin about $100...

does anyone have any experience from entering the comp previously??

or does any one else want to enter as well as me??

mmmm. ask around isall i can say, talk to the guys at tackle wharehouse. there number is 07-33986500, i swear if they cant answer any of ur questions then i dont think anyone can, the guy who owns the shop is gordan mc donald, he writes in alot of local fishing magazines.

I will deffiently enter if my work Schedule permits.

Which at that time of the year it most likely will.

Hopefully between now and then between noosa and pinkinba i can nail my flathead SP technique!

But yeah, im keen to enter some more comps like that.

Yeah mate no worries.

If im driving there anyway its no prob to take two more.

Ill try and get the 4wd for the day so we stock up on gear as well.

oi are you boat based???? there heaps of good flattie spots down there if u have a boat.

nar mate i dont have a boat.... i wonder if ther are diferent divisions for boaters and non boaters.... or if they team u up with a boater liek in the abt....

give it ur best troy alot of big fish have been caught land based.... u should get a canoe but there easy to fish from and you can get into all thoise small spaces. trust e $800 will have u set, note thats with out a motor.
