Just a bump for this one. Would be great to see a bigger crowd. Bring mate, mrs, kids or whatever if a solo appearance seems daunting. 

Many members may not be aware but you can customise the activity stream on AFO to suit your own liking.
If you click on the main menu 'Activity' tab (Step 1), then click on 'My Activity Streams' (Step 2) you are given the option to create a new stream (Step 3).

You are then presented with the options to create a new stream. This 'stream' is the list of activity on the site, and so you can customise this so you don't have to see all the activities, but just the ones you're interested in.

So if you only want to see topics and posts that are about sharking that you haven't read yet and that has been posted in the last 7 days, you can create that!

 
After you create your new stream you can then also set it as your default stream if you want. You can also rename and delete it.

If you set it as your default stream this is the one that is at the top right of the screen for easy access for you to just see the content you want on AFO.

There are so many options in how you can customise it, so hopefully this will allow you to make AFO more personalised and focus more in showing you the content you are interested in.

Good work on the potential lucky door prize - bonus!!  I'm Ok to bring an esky - I'll PM you my phone number and just buzz me before the day so I know how many/how big (I recently acquired a fairly big one but it may be too big - have other options though).
The park gets pretty busy with kids birthday parties (we're having our son's there in a couple of weekends time) so I would suggest we bring at least a couple of tables between us plus everyone bring a chair. I've got one fold up table I can bring. Anyone else?
Oh and I've got a severe allergic reaction to small plates of food .........

I have just been down to BCF to shop with my voucher for playing the game (went crazy... Pkt of Mullet fillets, pkt prawns and a red bull haha)... The manager and I always have a bit of a chat and there is a possibility of a LUCKY DOOR PRIZE WHICH I hope to secure this week!
Now for logistics... @Angus will we need some tables or if there likely to be one available on site?

I haven't heard that anyone has any food intolerances or allergies but if you do please advise!
If anyone is planning a morning session out in the bay beforehand and you have room to take anyone along speak up, perfect opportunity for newbies to go Deckie.

In the early days of BFO a member claimed a cobia in the Brisbane river and me being a doubting thomas went and tried for one under the Indooroopilly  bridge and no cobia bit i did catch a 60cm bass on a cavendish banana. Sorry no picture but then there was no photo of the cobia.

Well it wasn't as clean as yours is @timtam_, but I found the picture of @benno573's mighty bay catch.

My mate Wallyfly caught a rod up at baroon dam, it was a baitcaster, when he reeled it in it had a bass on the end with the line wrapped around it, cutting it nearly in half, but was still alive, released to live another day.
I found a baitcaster up there also with a 6000 eggbeater reel on it and the lure still attached, I got the lure, Luke got the rod for cleaning the reel and my son got the reel for open water fishing.
Just recently I found half a rod up there as well. I might add I have donated a nice baitcaster outfit to the depths up there as well.
Also down at Wangdang Illawarra I saw a flash in the water and cast to it while I was flathead fishing one day, result one kids rod and reel with a big bream on the end of it.
My best by far was when the water went down to 15% at NPD I hooked a few bundles of lures all in tight balls some balls were worth $200 dollars. Near the dam wall, while casting spinnerbaits,heaps of jackal lure amongst them (i think a lot of them were already mine

The only Photoshopping was the MANHANDS... I added them in for effect. My hands are much bigger and stronger, felt like flattering myself a little.
The fish lives to this day in my swimming pool, I practice my fly fishing on him.
