They mainly stay on the gunnel underneath the cover, not in the boat itself, I have given that ant killa a go, will see how it goes when I get back in two weeks

It’s in the driveway mate, haven’t seen an ants nest anywhere near, it started after all the rain we had on the Gold Coast few weeks ago.

Hey guys, Does anyone have dramas with ants in their boat ? I work fifo and every time I get home there are ants all through my boat under the boat cover, have already tried ant rid, boat only has 40 hours on it so I want to get it sorted before it ends up as an ants nest

I went out as I said I was going too, got a few muddies, only one keeper and tried a new spot and caught 3 stingrays thinking of going to coochiemudlo this break, I have never been.

Where are you from mate ?

Hey guys, Been away at work for 3 weeks, I am home tomorrow and weather is looking awesome for Friday, planning on dropping some pots and having a fish up around the pin area. Any one heard of decent reports of crabs and fishing up that area lately ?

A google search came up with this, last paragraph.

I would like to think that they could withstand rain water haha but who knows, I find it weird that it wasn’t like it when I bought it, surely the trailers are premade and sit out in the elements prior to being sold.

Sorry mate I should’ve mentioned I wash it with town water, it is stored outside.

I’ve got the same stuff on my dunbier trailer which is brand new ( 32 hours on the boat now ) trailer is always thoroughly washed after use as well

I’ve recently bought a boat and live on the Gold Coast, do you know of any marks that aren’t posted all over the internet ? My boat is only 4.8 so wouldn’t go much further out than the 18s and 24s.

Thanks boys, the 6 knots doesn’t worry me as I plan on just trolling, I did consider Somerset but it’s a bit too far for a day trip, I’m back home from work this week so I might go have a look. Will let yous know if I have any luck

Just wondering if anyone has been to Wivenhoe lately ? Any reports and how would a 4.8 metre stessco go at its current capacity ? I’ve got 5 more hours to put on my boat before it’s due for the first service so I was looking at running it through some fresh water, I have never been there either, thanks guys.
