I'm not the best but I've caught big eels on rod and reels down near mission point in the channel at bribe. I don't know if this will be helpful though because it is not the clearest of water most of the time. another place you might be able to go would be flinders reef near the tip of Moreton island i imagine there would be eels there.

does anyone know any spot where you can catch big king fish near or around Moreton, ive caught small ones but no big ones.
-
cool thanks, what's better there kayaks or a boat.

What lake are you fishing at, i love to catch bass but never do.

the top X is good at High tide and the bottom X is good at low tide (but be careful not to get stuck like i did) just keep casting a colourful paddle tail to the bank and retrieve slowly. And you should get a flat head.

ill have a think about it a reply if i decide to buy it

queensland Best way to fillet a flathead
Tuna are fish replied to Tuna are fish's topic in Saltwater
i fillet them by cutting under the fins and then taking the knife down the spine to the tail then take the skin off. i did cook one whole after gutting it, i think it might be the way to get the most meat off of them. -

i have found tilapia in the lake next to my house and know how to catch and dispose of them. but it seems like a waste, do they make good bait of catfish or saltwater fish? Or should i only use them in the lake next to my house so i don't spread the species.

queensland Any good fishing spots around Bribie Island
Tuna are fish replied to Thommotap's topic in Saltwater
if you go out past the point of bribe towards Morten (about 20 min drive on boat) you can see 2 marker beacons (not the first beacons but the second beacons and you will find birds diving and tuna jumping, just chuck a 30g metal slug into it an you will surly hook up. -
thanks

Do you have to kill them once caught. Are you allowed to release them back?
