  1. I see that there are some freshwater fish in the rules from last time. are tilapia and catfish in it?
  2. Does it work like, if i catch a fish i take a photo with the measurements and post it? and also will tuna types be counted, if so count me in for the north

  5. Just had a look on the website, it is up to the Australian standard AS4758 and has a level 150 compliance, with a one year warranty. Seems good for anyone needing one.

Thanks for the info Norm i will have a look at fly clubs near me. i'm set on gear as dad has got two rod and reel combos that he said i can use a, silstar and a diawa. they are both around 20-30 years old but are in good shape. i had a good go and i was able to cast around 10 metres, (idk if this is good or not) i'm mainly going to use it in my local lake to catch talapia, freshwater mullet and maybe carp.

  10. I saw it on monday, me and dad were watching it when he suggested to get out one of his old fly rods.
  11. Hi all, i pulled one of dad's old fly rods out of the shed after he said i should try to get tilapia on it. I have never fly fished before but have a general idea from watching YouTube. Does anyone here fly fish and if so what helped you start? Cheers
  12. I have no clue but it look like it is around 20 years old because boats aren't made like that anymore, try a drag and drop search in google.
  13. this is just an idea, but you could go up to Airlie beach. you will have to go out far, but me and dad caught a few there when we use to live there.

  18. Start a petition for fishing activity only past that time or something like that or find a new fishing spot. Nothing much you can do.
  19. We have an old 75 mercury. but we do use av gas from dad's work.
  20. Just googled it it is a really nice boat.
