Ah yes the sushi place. Oh and I believe you mean 'sampling the succulent cuisine with distinguished elegance' ...... .

Thought I thought I saw you and the boys feeding your faces at one of cafes near the cinema but couldn’t stop to say g’day.

I'm 0/2 in Sydney so will have to go back for 3rd time lucky sometime. A fella with the surname Johns has since retired so our chances are a bit higher these days ..... . Apart from 2 years living in London in 2006 & 2007 and then two years at some point through our 8 years in a row reign where we couldn't get tickets, I've gone to every other game in Brisbane since 1997. Plenty of good memories (and wins) .

Same for me with Qld and Origin games. Only been there for one win. So, I sacrifice myself and stay home. Working out just nicely for umpteen years now. haha

Nah, probably because I was there. Broncos haven’t won a game when I have been there for years. I think I will stay at home for the rest of this season.
  10. Good bream there. On the nose ? Might be better off cutting up the fillets for strip baits.
  11. Bream 36cm. The only keeper from a morning spent out the front of Scarborough. Will attempt to fillet. My mate left it in his Esky for a few hrs and it's on the nose a bit.
  12. Wind knots aren't the problem, it's floating braid blowing in the wind, it's a bit of a problem at times, I'd rather a sinking line.
  13. Heard that percy at NPD was back so we went to visit him. Perfect glass out till 11.30 when the wind got up just as we got back to the ramp. Plenty of shrimp in the pots . Wish the fish were just as plentiful. We only managed 21 bass between the 2 of us but some good quality with quite a few 40 and over. Best 2 went 47.5 and 46cm. Total for the day 21 bass and percy accompanied us most of the day. All fish released.
  14. Thanks mate i will have to do something similar

The Sharks are back. Bronco's went to sleep in the second half, probably from all that complaining from their coach.
  20. The jury is out on long leaders. I used to run long leaders. Now I use about a metre. Seems to work ok. If I am beach or rock fishing with metal lures I don't use a leader

  22. Cracking haul of quality fish there Mark, nice work
  23. Wind knots are 90% line management on your spool....most common cause is not noticing the line crossing the top of the spool when the bail closes....causes the loose circle of braid that rattles down the guides and hangs up with an eye....or worst case drags extra loops from the spool when it is freed in the cast creating a massive knot in the guides. It very seldom is the wind that causes it.
