    Cowboys 20   v  24 Eels
    … with just the 4 points from a converted try that came from a clear forward pass, in the 6th minute, the Eels get to the grand final.

    Absorbing game to watch with a bonus of 10 minutes extra time + 3 minutes golden point time thrown in to make it one of the best finals play off games` in recent times….

  7. NRL finals series 2022
    Under the current finals system, the team that has finished in first has only won the premiership three times, the Sydney Roosters in 2013 and 2018, and the Melbourne Storm in 2017.

    The current system sees the first week have top four sides face each other, and the second four (bottom half of the top eight) play each other. The winners in the top four clashes go straight to the third week of the finals, while the losers face the winner of the second four.

    The losers in the matches between the second four sides are eliminated, while the winners face the losers from the top four.

    Last year’s minor premiers were Penrith Panthers, who defeated South Sydney in the decider.

    Friday September 16 - Saturday September 17

    Finals Week 3

    Friday September 23 - Saturday September 24

    good to see Manly finish off the season on such a note…

    with both teams picking up injuries out of this game, next week’s Week 1 Finals re-match may be a more entertaining match…

    Warriors 26  vs. 27 Titans
    fancy that…

    Dragons 22  vs. 12 Broncos

    for season 2023, apart from needing a real full back, dummy half, and a fitting  halves partner for Reynolds, the Broncos may need to look at their Mares and Fillies side to add some muscle and footy nous to the team… just saying

    Cowboys 38  vs. 8 Panthers
    with the Panthers resting 12 players, this game was slated to be a pre-finals, training run for the Cowboys.

    Knights 16  vs. 38 Sharks
    I guess the only surprise here was the Knight’s 16….

    Well, I guess the positive for the Tigers will be pre-season 2023, with the reforming the 2005 trio band of Sheen’s, Marshall, and Farar…. and after that, we wait to see

    Dragons 46  vs 26 Titans
    with both teams having a 10 - 11 error rate and 52 missed tackles each, they were both lucky to stay in the match.
    At 30 – 26 the Dragons were reduced to 12 players for the final 20 minutes, via a send off. They then put on 16 points to extinguish any hope a Titan’s fan had….

    Knights 22  vs. 28 Raiders
    turned into a good game, for viewers. Raiders’ fans dream, of a top 8 spot, are still alive with lots of hope and a lot more prayers….
