Yeah Greg, I've had a battle getting in the group and then ended up with 3 places, then some one tried hacking my puter and its been in the doctors for a week. Got it back today, will have to see how round 3 picks go. Don't know why they need to change sh@t all the time, just leave it alone, I suppose it keeps some clown in a job.

It seemed much more user friendly last year to me. As the old saying goes, If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

Of course, you realise that if Parramatta had jagged the win, I wouldn’t have mentioned any of this! I’d be up near the lead. lol.

Parra definitely weren't favourites. Panthers were $1.41 favourites.

See what happens next week. I'll just add one onto your tips for this week in my mind and credit you at season's end.

    Nah, it’s okay. I like a challenge.

Greg, I still have no clue as to what could have happened. What are your Auto pick settings ? Home team, Away team, or Sports Bet Favourite ?

I wouldn’t have a clue. Must be Sports Bet Favourite because it picked home, home, away. Although I wouldn’t have thought Parramatta would have been favourites?

That try was unbelievable. Warriors were unlucky not to win. As were Newcastle. Worked out well for us tipsters though. @GregOug, I haven’t had any trouble with tips or margins changing but it takes the fun out of it a bit when you can’t see others tips during the game.

Oh well, at least I’m still in the top ten!

???????? I have no idea how that happened. It's working for me.

Has anyone else genuinely had an issue ?

I picked them a week or more ago. It said 8/8. Then I went in after a few games and noticed that it had allocated them all to auto-picks. I adjusted the remaining games to what I actually wanted. Even now it’s saying I’m on a six game winning steak. How? It picked Parramatta and I lost that one? Weird.

  8. Another thing it has done is change some of my picks. It says i tipped against the Panthers, at home! It also says i set a margin for the Cronulla/Bulldogs game of 3. Three! I never pick 3.

Regardless of the total correct picks it has given me (3 instead of 4), it reckons I’m on a 4 game streak! Go figure.

  9. I wish companies would stop mucking around with things. From what I can see the NRL app has gone backwards this year. How do you see what people have tipped when the game is underway?

Its great looking kit and seems like its probably a good alternative to trying to fit an electric onto the front of a larger boat - and using one where you need to go and deploy it or put up with the unreliability factor of the auto deploy units.

I guess only downside it you are using engine hours?  But gives you the key benefits and also work better when its fairly rough.

I am guessing its probably cheaper to add than a suitable electric anyway?

The complete kit is around $20,000 but the autopilot component was already an upgrade that the dealer had selected when they ordered the boat. From memory adding the joystick and all the features like fishpoint cost me around $7,000 extra.

With regard to adding extra hours, the way the weather is this year I’ll be lucky to add two hours! Anyway, the dealer said with modern motors they can quickly bring up a report which shows engine hours by revs per minute. So you can quickly see how many hours the boat has done actually travelling and how many at idle, etc. He said, in future, buyers of used boats will look at the two figures separately (idle/low revs versus cruising/open throttle range).

    Hmmm,

I haven't fished 50 times yet, but I am up to 14, so on target. Have got some macks that weren't too bad, but I'd like to get better. I'm waiting for winter to try to jag a big snapper on plastic.

But, with all that said, I am still behind you. Have you put your gear away until next year ? haha

Aim low. Achieve your goals. Feel good. lol.

And the way this weather is going it looks like I may as well put the gear away until next year!
