Well, that was an interesting first round, with 10 out of 12 of us failing to get even half the tips correct.
And I don’t even know how the other 2 did it?

Would love to try and setup radar to pickup birds and some topwater action! Have read this can be just as good as scanning underwater
You’re welcome to come out sometime and have a muck around with it. And all the other electronic wizardry that also baffles me. lol.

? Didn't I make sense ?
I'm saying put up a For Sale thread in the Classifieds forum.
https://www.australianfishing.com.au/forum/60-classifieds/
Then post a link to it in the Stejcraft thread
that has been going for a couple of years. Everytime someone Googles for a review they come on here and have a look at that thread.
Thanks. Didn’t realise we had a classifieds area. So I’ve done the first part. Not sure how to add a link under the ss64 thread though.

Are we speaking the same language? lol.

Hi mate,
Thanks. No, there aren’t too many boats as fast as the last one. This one tops out around 30 knots, and for some reason, I don’t get whiplash when I touch the throttle?
cheers
Greg
And I still have the other one, in case anyone is looking for a very nice boat and a bit of a bargain.

Hey Kelvin, do you have any idea why you are suddenly showing up as a club member and most of us just have member next to our name? How much is that costing you are a year?

lol. I think you’re too late. If we’re talking about the same bay, it was cleaned out years ago. I’m hoping to actually get outside the bay, on occasions, where I’m led to believe there are still some fish left, on occasions. Of course, the occasions I make it out there will no doubt be different to the occasions that fish are there.

Actually, that was one of the benefits I listed as I tried to justify the expense of radar to myself. lol.
We will see if it actually works in practice!

Hi Greg,
I went Lowrance HDS 16 Live with the 3in1 Transducer as this fitted my budget and I have had Lowrance on my last 2 boats with out any problems, plus I didn't have to relearn anything.
I looked at Garmin but it was 10k for the package & the Lowrance was only 7k. So, I put that 3k towards a lonestar anchor winch package.
Good thinking 99. Stuff pulling anchors up.

All,
Boats arrived. got held up a little on the docks for nearly a week with customs & waiting for the trailer to be ready.
N/S Marine are making a few adjustments for me regarding my layout of Yamaha gauge & GPS/Sounder combo to ensure it all fits nicely as it's a really tight squeeze on the dash.
Should be ready in around a weeks' time for water testing
Hi Josh,
I calculate that you got your new boat sometime in October and I got mine in February, four months later.
So, taking that into consideration, does that mean I’ll catch a 10kg+ tuskie by June?
Also, on a serious note, what sounder/gps did you go with?
cheers
Greg

Anyone know anything about crypto , NFTs, ETFs, Shares, Debt recycling, Investing or just general financial planning for a new boat? I wonder if a boat is allowable as a lump sump payment from super?
Once you reach your allocated retirement age and have actually retired you can use all your super if you wish. Mind you, you’d then have to depend on catching a lot of fish in order to keep eating!

Love the new Boat! @GregOug you are living the dream and definitely have your priorities right. You must have been an accountant in a past life to name your boat liquid asset
Thanks @Hweebe. I’m far from an accountant. I just like names that play with words. And hopefully my priorities are right! Otherwise I’ve made an expensive mistake! Lol.
