That's great, thanks.ive only had a couple of attempts on the river when on holiday.i fished by the moggill ferry if you know it?,wasn't very successful
That area can be tricky fishing, normally just catfish on dead bait, you’re better off trying with some live bait in the lower reaches of the river for a wider variety of species (Threadfin, Jew, snapper, etc).

Glad to hear you caught had some success Lucas. Currently the website has an issue with photos and you can't upload them.
The best way to upload them is to upload them to another website and then post a link here to the photo.

Hi all
Snuck out with @charlie.hans.fishing this arvo for a quick flick at the mouth of Oxley Creek. We got there at about 4, just as the tide had started running in. It was already pretty crowded so we didn't bother with lines for the first part, but after having a cast around with the net I eventually got a few mullets and bony bream.
As one group left we got the lines out and started fishing. We were hopeful of a bite, but unfortunately, apart from a couple of small nibbles on Charlies rod we both donutted for the whole arvo.
By 7PM with no action it was looking pretty bad, and with a bit of wind making it quite cold we decided to call it quits.
Hope everyone had a better Saturday, at least I got to go fishing. Can't wait until school holidays.
Stats of Trip:
Tide: 3:00PM, .5M, Low
Moon Phase: Three days before New Moon
Bait Caught and Used: Live mullet and bony bream. Also caught grunter, scat, and ponyfish in the net.
Fish Caught: -
Air Pressure: 1013
Humidity: 65%
Overall Success Rate: 25% - fun study break
Thanks for reading,
Cheers Hamish.

You could try learning a slightly simpler knot, like an Albright or Double Uni Knot, I sometimes have this issue too when its rough and normally just try the knot a bit slower.
