Thanks for the report, Hamish. It was a tough day at the office.

Hopefully the wind will die off and we can go chase some bay mackies over the holidays.

    Thanks Brian, that sounds good.

    Yes - worth it.
    Nice Thready.

Have you done anything with your fishing log data.?
You should graph out number of Threadfin vs Month and then number of threadfin vs stage of tide , and number of threadfin vs location . That might help you zero in on them .

    regards

    Neil

Thanks Neil, yep I should make a graph with the data, good idea.

Well done, I tip my hat to your dedication.  No way I could do that many mornings so early….I am enjoying my post work life by not getting up so early too often

Fishing used to creep into my procrastination program when I was at school too 😉... Always good to sneak in a break from study around exam time👍

That's great, thanks.ive only had a couple of attempts on the river when on holiday.i fished by the moggill ferry if you know it?,wasn't very successful 😩

That area can be tricky fishing, normally just catfish on dead bait, you’re better off trying with some live bait in the lower reaches of the river for a wider variety of species (Threadfin, Jew, snapper, etc).
