  1. Legend. Well done. Reminds me of the bikes and trailers we made for the Urangan Pier when I was younger.
  2. Thanks Ellicat Sounds right, but nothing for me. Must mean I have to keep trying oh no I was in the Logan and Albert
  3. Evening all Hope your weekend was a little more fruitful than mine Took the tinny out last night. Great tide/moon phase. Had perfect sized live mullet and live prawns for bait. Drifting top and change of the tide in known Jew and Salmon territory. Unfortunately, spent more time watching the footy on Kayo than reeling In the fish. Just wondering if the affects of the deluge SE QLD received a week still has an effect of fishing. The Logan and Albert river get quite ‘fresh’ after rain, with the fresh water working its way down stream. Just wondering if people take previous rain into account when fishing local rivers? cheers Cam
  4. Hi mate. I lived in the bay about 25 years ago when I was a teenager. I lived in Urangan, across from the boat harbour. I loved fishing the flats on the beach for a flathead and whiting. At times big trevelly (8-10kg) would scavenge the yabbie holes and you would land one from there. Not sure if you’re allowed anymore, but I’d also fish from the rock wall of the harbour. The rock around near the aquarium was also fantastic for big bream. Happy fishing.
  5. Much better than other social media sites. No arguing about why we should or shouldn’t be protesting. Just fishing and enjoying what we have
  6. Thanks guys. Some great advice.
  7. Thanks for the reply. Good to know. Now to wait for the opportune time.
  8. Hi All New to the forum. Have been reading your advice and general knowledge over the past week. Great community. just after some wisdom. I have a 4m tinny with a 15 on the back. I am looking to expand out of the estuaries and rivers and try some well known points. I’m just not sure if I am being unwise in my boat. Areas such as mud, green and peel island seem interesting. Love to hit the Macks, tuna, snapper etc... Will my boat be ok with good weather conditions? How about the measured mile? .... is the pushing it too far? Any advice is welcomed. Cheers Cam
