Epic Shark Hook

Well, in my spare time, i decided to make a shark hook (an epic 1) any way, i have made it and have a question for you guys. What size would my shark hook be equivalent to eg- 16/0, 20/0 ect. the length of it is 28cm long and 9cm wide. all replies are apprecited

ps- i have no idea when or where i am going 2 use this :lol:

approx a 24/0 eq... mustard depends on what brand you look at though.

by the way put a cutting edge on the inside of the point.

that size hook you can use in the bay to chace big tigers, bulls ect

24/0, thats massive, would it be pointless to use it at the mouth of the brissy for a big bullie or not???

no.... just remember they have got big mouths,and the bigger the bait the bigger the shark. if you put a big bait out, it may take quite afew trips for it to get hit, but be patient and it will aventually come

not too long ago there was a report that a very large shark had straightened out the hooks over near Dunwich...the area where the floating baits are put out, that could be a good starter, cant wait to see the results.
