Up to Baroon for a change of scenery, love that pretty place. Picked up a few trolling, until I started to find a few schools. Then I would try some jiggs until they got sick of them and finish up with some on bait. Picked up some decent size ones early, but the last school I found were all legal but small.Managed 70 plus bass. Got bored with these so packed up and headed for the pie shop, for a pie and peas and a custard slice for when I got home.Wife arrived home late, been down the coast, daughter and her 2 daughters took wife to see the rocky horror show for her birthday. Then to top it off, daughter came around with a cream filled cake and we sang happy birthday and I made myself sick by having some cake. I will never learn.

Had another great morning out at NPD yesterday.Bass were lure hungry, smashing trolled lures on the way down the dam and then taking jiggs when ever I passed over a small school. So then after they made my day, I fed them some shrimp to fatten them up for next time. I nearly got to 50cm a few times.Managed 68 bass all up.

Went for a walk sunday arvo for some exercise, managed a couple on spinnerbait, legs are still a bit like jelly. Redeemed myself out in the boat yesterday, managed 62 and quite a lot on lures. I found 3 willing schools, that were hungry for lures to start with and then on bait afterwards. Schools were not big, but each school had some decent bass in them.

Over the last 4 sessions, I have caught over 200 bass, I would normally be excited but the fact that there was not even one tagged bass amongst them, I feel we have been let down.We have not been allowed to tag bas for the last 3 years or so and its now showing up as very few tagged bass are caught.(rant over )
Anyway on the fishing front managed 44 the other day and 52 yesterday, mainly trolling and on shrimp.I like to troll around until I find a few and then deploy my live fish finders. Bass are still nice and fat, I would take a couple home, but to lazy to clean them and why would I when I get ocean fish off my son already filleted and cryovaced.

Worst part is I need an op on the right thumb but I keep injuring myself and they wont op if you have any open wounds. Maybe next year at the start of winter.

I forgot that when I was last out fishing the boat didnt come onto the trailer quite right. I paid the price for it yesterday, I couldnt get the boat off the trailer. So while trying to shove it off, my hand slipped and I took a hunkout of my left thumb base, nek minit the light bulb in my head come on and I backed the trailer further into the water and floated the boat off.
Anyway on the fishing front, it was bedlam again, the bass were like indians, they kept circling the boat each time I pulled up.Managed over 50 again trolling and shrimp, before I could hear the lunch time bell all the way from my place. (yes I know need a new camera )

Fatties were at it again out at North Pine yesterday, managed over 50 with a couple of 50cm models amongst them.Trolling and shrimp done the damage. With the water level going down each day, you would think they would be easy to find, but this is not the case, you have to cover a lot of water to try and track them down. It also makes it hard trolling, when the depths change all the time.

Wife and I both felt sorry for the family that missed out, but then we realised they would get a new lot. As you said a lot of money gone west here and we know we all will pay for it.

No pie,try this for size, wife put an online order in to supermarket, when it arrived we had half our order and about a 200 buck order of someone elses.Wife rang the store and awhile later they said we could pick the rest of our order up in the morning and keep the other order.I even got nappies for when I get a bit older. So to answer I had plenty of food at home. Might add this is the second time this has happened. So do your shopping online folks.

Headed over to lake K this morning, for a session in the yak I have been wanting to do for some time, but always injured or back to crook. Well glad I made the effort as the bass were hungry for trolled lures.
Shoved off from the bank and remembered I left my phone at home, then I put the mirage drive in backwards and could not get it out, so had to return to shore where I could fix it without falling in. Then the first fish I caught swam right under the yak and tangled up with the other line. I was nearly going to quit and go home, but something in my head(small brain ) said your not a quitter, get a hold of yourself ( well you know what I mean )
I peddled around for a few hours, so probably wont be able to walk tomorrow, managed 36 bass, most medium size no whoppers.

by the time I had the pie with a big serve of peas for lunch, then the custard slice for afternoon tea, when my daughter came around with cream cake for the wifes birthday, I nearly lost the lot at the table, but like a trooper I had a piece.
