I have posted heaps of reports from moreton in the past 10+ years and advice on what to how to where to. Have a squizz through some of my previous reports / posts on the topic and you’ll get some pretty good ideas - I’m far too lazy to type it all out again.

All year round to be honest - they aren’t that fussy. People reckon end of winter into spring for a big ones but I don’t try to target them specifically so couldn’t comment.

My goals are to spend more time fishing with my kids and more time on the kayak. Captures would be a bonus.
also would like to help my “special” (as in the yellow bus kind of special) friend get his first whiting over 40 and first ever threadfin. You know who you are.
