    Red hot in paradise ! Still up there with one of my favourite dams that one! All the bass look in great condition it would have been great fun getting the on spinner baits they just seem to hit like freight trains. Very envious Dino ! Casting arm is getting itchy again, I’ll be on the sidelines a good while yet, cheers

    Thanks for the meet up at the gate ray, Cant say i have seen that person before fishing the bank but i have seen a asian fella fishing down past the island before, always on the move and fishing a very long rod seems to be throwing a spinner bait, No idea where there getting in but i was a land owner and seen some one fishing my property it wouldnt be a particularly nice greeting!

    I do have a few bc outfits but I would say these two are possibly my favourite. Both recently serviced by Duncan at https://m.facebook.com/pages/category/Fishing-Store/D-H-Reel-Repairs-347434902127288/ ready for a season of casting at jacks and toga and some Barra, both have upgraded (as with all my reels) with carbontex drag washers.

    Just screwed some rubber coated hooks in to beams under the house. Keeps the up off the floor.

    @AUS-BNE-FISHO Make sure you ask ray lots of questions and make sure it’s a detailed report with plenty of pics as they always make the report much better. Ray has a wealth of knowledge so don’t be afraid to ask... if you don’t ask you will never know. Enjoy the day Hamish it will be one you won’t forget in a hurry.

    Doubt I’ll make it @ellicat I’m still in hospital, no lifting of twisting for 6 weeks and no idea on driving either. Have fun everyone make sore there is plenty of pics taken. cheers
