    Christmas 2020

Have fun everyone I am working so can't make it enjoy and tight lines
  5. Nice jewie they are good to see when the silver slab surfaces beside the boat
  6. About half full as we were leaving it was starting to fill up with schoolies
  7. Yes there is cabins and plenty of land based fishing can also walk to good yabby banks at low tide
  8. It was a small wave on the bar but the creek was good enough for me
  9. Stayed at Tallebudgera caravan park over the weekend with the van and my son brought down our little boat. Not to much to report with 4 legal whiting and lots of little bream and a few small flathead. I did get 1 big black bream on a yabby which was a bit of a surprise. Good weather and company with a few mates with their vans joining us. Just a top social weekend in God's country.
  10. Bloody love it keep it up Callum you should have plenty of local knowledge by the time I get up there
  11. It either was watching Brock catch all the good fish or join him using plastics. I have tried the 50 gram shads metal vibes on the trout and they work to.
  12. Forgot to mention a platapus popped up right beside my kayak late on Wednesday afternoon he looked at me as I was sitting still to get a good look at him. Very cool to see so close up
  13. Yes the footy was intense but I always have faith in Qld sides.
  14. It is in the Brisbane River catchment for 1st clue lol.
  15. Top spot Steve 1st time there for me but I am definitely going back
  16. Thanks Sef love my camping and catching fish is a bonus
  17. Went camping mid week chasing wild bass out of my kayak Tuesday through to Thursday. Got a few bass on spinerbaits in the arvo on Tuesday and found new country on foot. Beers were calling as dark fell so back at camp I lit the fire and enjoyed the evening. The next morning I hit the creek again finding fish mainly midstream. Late morning we pack it in organised lunch and got some shrimp from the traps. The arvo the fish come on thick taking shrimp just floated down in this shallow creek. The SOO game was on so we didn't stay to late and more beer listening to the footy around the was awesome. The next morning I got in early again finding bass, tandanus and spangled perch. Packed up camp after a top couple of days on the sweet water.
  18. Yes and that's the key Robbie look after your catch and you have quality fish the family enjoys.
  19. Had some red emperor last night and it was sensational the fish don't get any better than this IMO
  20. Going to FNQ for 5 weeks next year on a road trip, boat on roof and van on the back
  21. Caught plenty of sooties but never a jungle perch so this is a definite fish on my bucket list. Love ya work as always Callum
