When I have fished for small rainbow trout, I have used about a size 8 mustad fine worm hook.

Hi, does anyone have experience good or bad using circle hooks on trout or redfin?
I have used them on bream with limited success. I’m told u have to not strike and let them hook themselves. Instinct gets the better of me 😜

I asked them
1, can’t people follow the river
2, what are my insurance issues
3, do I need to turn off my electric fence flood gates as my stock will get out
4, what if they leave gates open as it will take me weeks to sort out my stock.
can’t give me an answer on any of it!

More fun today on the little atomic arowz 1000 reel Zman yabbies again.
7 trevally , 4 over 38 cm and lost a bream under the jetty🤬 nearly had it in the net too! It would easily have been my pb too.
