Trout hook size

Just wondering what size hooks yas are using for small to average size trout with worms in slow moving rivers? 
 

I mainly flick plastics at them and haven’t used worms since I was a kid.

I have some size 10, are they too small?

When I have fished for small rainbow trout, I have used about a size 8 mustad fine worm hook.

I don't go any smaller than #4 truturn hook.

Depends, for worms I tend to use either a 6 or 4 in a semi length shank or a size 4 circle hook when I'm fishing a float. 

In small streams I like an u  weighted hook with a  big worm and I drop it in at the head of a hole and let the current drift it. The trout like to sit where the current drops food for them so it usually puts it right in the zone.
