That’s funny? Because what I watched them buy appeared on the comp page the very next day. Must have just been a coincidence. Now I think of it, they couldn’t have been the same ones because they were a lot longer on their measuring devices than the ones they bought. Forget I said anything.

Actually, catching fish has become so ho hum for me that I don’t bother doing reports anymore. Or even taking photos. Believe it or not!

Thanks. Although I would need a holder for the iPad anyway and could get a charger connection installed so it is charging while I use it. That should obviate the battery problem?

I am thinking of using an iPad as a second gps when I go out. I already have the Navionics Boating app but as I understand it you need an iPad with cellular capabilities to take a SIM card, so that you have access to the charts live. Has anyone used an iPad in this manner, and does the auto routing function work out on the water? Is it a good second gps option or am I better off getting a second dedicated gps/plotter? Any suggestions and comments welcome. cheers Greg

I bought most of them a year or so ago but I'm getting too old for school. I just want someone to come out with me, set my sounder up properly and show me how to use it.

I think that’s what it is in, given the fish caught results so far. It shows them as there, but they never are.
