There’s one thing I think you should add to your reports. I’ve noticed that you don’t have an actual ‘Fish Caught’ heading in the summation. It would probably be worth adding so you can quickly refer to back to relevant ones rather than having to wade through hundreds of them a few years down the track looking for info on fishing trips involving squire or reef sharks, for example.

Hi @samsteele115 I had a great time!  The whole day was both fun and "interesting" - I have been reading about stepping on Rays when wading and when we had to push the boat I have to admit I was a little bit nervous.  Got some hookups that felt really big (compared to what I am used to on land anyway).  Hamish failed to mention (probably being polite) that I probably lost them because my drag was too loose.  Lesson learned - Greg checked the drag, showed me how tight it should be and next time I will be ready!
It has been awesome meeting everyone - a great bunch of blokes.

We hit up Shorncliffe Pier yesterday. The weather was fantastic. We chased yellowfin whiting and bream and while we did not get a heap of fish, we left with a feed. 
Cribb Island worms and yabbies were the baits we used with yabbies being more effective. There were plenty of other legal bream there but we only kept the three. The flood tide up in the shallows did the trick.

haha yep its sort of like that. 
The trick is to not grab at them.
you slowly put your fingers either side of them and when they start to arch their backs you calmly grab them and pull them out. Its all about not being like a whiting who would aggressively grab them. Be more like the sand that gently squeezes them.

That might be why there is not many bass
