@natang maybe try posting some recent photos without the cover and some of the outboard without the cover? Maybe get the outboard serviced 90hp 2 stroke that hasn’t been serviced since 2017 and over 350hrs may put people off. It’s a sought after hull, if I had $10k spare I’d buy it if the 90 got tick of approval from service they are expensive to replace which is why that bloke offered $3k gee for 3 I’d definitely buy. Anyway I’m no expert just my thoughts. Good luck mate

Awesome day with Brian the legend! Forever grateful! Good chats and laughs. Can’t wait to do it again. By the way technically if you don’t land the grinner it doesn’t count (great tactic by me I must say, to drop it before it was in the boat) Thanks again mate

Welcome Kat! Utube is great for knots. I mainly use uni knots which I find great for braid and easy to master. I moved to Brisbane 2yrs ago from the goldy where I lived for 7yr. Beaches are good for tailor when in season, you just need to find a good gutter (utube how to look for those) the spit jetty is pretty good but can be busy and they charge a couple bucks to use it. Canals can produce at times, my dad lives on the canal in mermaid waters and catches bream, whiting and flathead. If your keen on adventure then mermaid reef is easily accessible by kayak (15-20 paddle) On a good day u will see a heap of boats out their. Paddle to the shark nets and your half way there. justpick a day with no swell so u can beach launch off mermaid beach and wear a life jacket. If u want a fishing partner then make sure u tag Gold Coast.

It was great for finding structure and knowing depths. I’m not great at reading/using them might need a lesson

Wind was blowing harder than forecast so couldn’t paddle to cockle grounds and still learning the area so didn’t really know were to go so stayed in close around the red cliffs and played with the new sounder.

Scored 4 of these nice looking specimens with crazy sharp fangs off Scarborough in the yak today. Species?
