    try the new baitjunkie jigheads, ive been using them and they stop that problem completely the only problem with them is that if you want to change plastic its hard to take the plastic off without ripping it so best bet just to take out a new jighead

    never tried the lipless cranks before not really a fan but might have to give them a go. Halco metals and even the poppers are so good on the beach. Fish absolutly love them. Im not the biggest fan of the baitjunkies, ill get them now and again and when i do its always the 3.2inch lol.

    yeah i settled on a ugly stick 8ft rod, always wanted to try ugly stick so i ended up getting one of those. I looked at the penn spinfishers and really liked them so might pick one up. Also looked at the shimano d and oc range because apparently they quite good

    thanks guys for the info, ive always used lures but just havent been able to get the jewfish adn threadfin on them so gonna try bait until i get one. then ill go back to lures lol

    thanks for the tip although spots i want to fish i wont need more than 7ft. i was thinking a 4k, you reckon thatll be too small because ive had mates pull huge ones on them.

    Hi guys, so I am purchasing a 4.2m tinny and its all in relatively good condition but super basic and not comfortable for my fishing style. Planning on doing a deck and making a casting deck but don't know what would to use? Dont want something super expensive but dont want something cheap. Planning to put marine carpet or some boat mat over it, any suggestions for that is appreciated as well. Also what hp motor should i put on it? Thanks in advance

    Hopefully next time you get something big, was very enjoyable to read. Ive noticed if there's lots of waves, cast a stickbait or popper into the whitewash thats around the 100mm to 120mm mark, 80mm would be the smallest i go and slowly work it for about 15-20 feet, then reel it in. Alternatively using 60-80g slow pitch jigs have caught me so many fish off the rock, nomad gypsea jigs is my preferred jig. I like longer rods on the rocks as well and tend to use a 5k minimum. Daiwa saltists are good since they resist the saltwater very well. I use a daiwa demonblood 932 pe 2/4 on a 6k saltist and ive found it nice, works for me. Hope you enjoyed your trips, your hard work will pay off eventually mate.

    Hi guys, I got a daiwa infeet 722 casts 0.5-5grams and is 7ft 2. Love the rod and definitley keeping it but is there something lighter that will cast lighter lures further since the infeet didnt cast those super light ones that far. I dont know whether I should get a lighter rod or a longer rod. I'll be using it to cast super light soft plastics and primarily targeting bream, whiting. Have a 1000 stradic i am likely to pair with it, might get another one if i feel like it but most likely ill just keep the stradic. I have a budget around $350, any recommendation help. Thanks

    for that i would go for a 2-5 jewel or 3-6 jewel. For a bit more a 3-6kg anarchy. I would take the anarchy over jewel but that personal preferance.

    depends how much fishing you do to be honest, if you going every month or two a $400 combo is fine for me but if im fishing every few days or every week id get a $600-700 combo since its lighter and more enjoyable to fish. I fish once a month and i got a $600 combo, spent $300 on it second hand and it was brand new used twice
