The other Aldi product I wouldn’t recommend is the electric knife sharpener. A bit rough for your better knives but will put an edge on knives you don’t really love.
I binned mine after the second or third 'use'......

A mate put a 1KW transducer on his big Furuno but the range was only to 800 metres. No good at all over the shelf when charts said the bottom was 2km down! You will get better talking to the pros in your region.
Or arrange a test trial of a transducer. The pro's suppliers must do such tests to win sales...
you can also try ringing Lowrance/Simrad...

So you use the Aldi boat wash in your motor as well? Is it designed for that?
I'm assuming its designed to clean. When I use my tank, around 300 litres I probably only add about 50-ml of detergent. I then run the motor for about 30-45 min. I have used kitchen detergent previously (to the Aldi).
I'm assuming the long time in the water (getting hotter) will remove the salt and the detergent will aid its removal.
So far - so good.
As a detergent to clean the boat the Aldi seems the equivalent of 'truck wash' and squid ink is certainly easier to sponge off once its been sitting in suds for 10min.

How do you know ANY flush is doing what you hope? The salt-away is about a 30sec additive at the end of a long fresh water flush - cant see how it could harm the motor.
.. or some detergent in some 300l of water...

I have started using ALDI car wash, applied with a foaming gun on a pressure washer (2700psi) to clean the boat. Works a treat.
I use salt away for muff flushes- have an appllcator... flush for say 10min then 'turn on' salt away.
If using the boat for a few days in a row, I tend to run motor in a tank with aldi boat wash until the water is HOT...

Ch 7, on the other hand use a different approach for their AFL commentators....... As a community service they employ two imbeciles.

You will have to go to NSW to try these as it is not legal to keep carp in qld.

Are you sure of that? In SA it is illegal to return carp to the water, We have very fat pelicans........
but you can keep for other uses. Many use then for cray and crab bait. One company produces fertiliser...

As a resident of Sth Aust, it is on my bucket list to catch a bull shark when I visit my daughter in Cairns (if I'm game to risk travelling... ). But as for being in the water with one?... nah...Like Great Whites... they cannot be trusted.
