Kingscliff

Gday guys heading down to Kingscliff next week for a few days. Never been there, so after some info on where to fish, will be packing the light and heavy gear. The cudgen creek looks like an option with the light gear for some flatties and whiting. Any options for rock fishing around there?

Cheers

Cudgen is ok but the land based areas get a bit flogged. Good map "the boat house" on cudgen creek and park near there. A mid to low tide allows for some good wading over yabby banks and yes Whiting.

The other immediately obvious suggestion which is weather pending would be the rocks to the south of cudgen creek mouth. Not the rock wall itself but a natural outcropping. Have jad a few really good bream sessions fishing this with plastics.
