Actually now I have had some time to think @AUS-BNE-FISHOI can't be sure that hasn't been Photoshopped in after the fact! Knowing how obsessed you boys are with it

Yes Bond is at Robina. There are regular catches in the Nerang - I have mates that have hooked but not landed them in Coombabah Creek. Brett thought he saw/heard one last time we were there - but it did surprise me that there was a monster caught there. But what do I know

Ooh good sleuthing Hamish!

Mmm mmm fish curry - although I think if I caught a spotty it would be eaten as is with some salt, pepper, flour and butter. What sort of curry Steve?
-
Hi Steve -so I know I am only a girl who has worked in an office most of her life (leave all those tool things to the men in my life ) - but sounds to me like the bungs themselves are defective (not fit for purpose) - or am I misunderstanding your post?
-
Great report. I too have found the fishing very hard this year. Some days absolutely no action - not even the normal pickers in the usual spots. Still better than most other activities I can think of though!

Congratulations! Stay strong! Remember you want to be able to catch many more like that for years to come. Plus you will be able to afford more fishing gear now

Offshore again? Haven't eaten crocodile but I know Mackerel is very tasty
-
Well done! Persistence paid off. Would have loved to see you flicking lures for that amount of time
-
You will be harder to find? Or it will be harder to find? Lol
-
I was just kidding. But I am waiting with baited breath to see if they officially find a croc soon.
-
Why do I think you are not taking this seriously Brian?
-
@Daryl McPheehas been quoted as saying it is a 1 in 100 year event. It seems that he thinks, if it is an actual sighting, that it is an anomaly?
