Used boat checkover

Hi i live in lota and Im looking for someone trustworthy to check my boat over from what i've heard marine places are just as bad as lawyers and accountants when it comes to charging. It's a 1977 pongrass with a 115hp mercury blueband. Starts straight away and very tidy with no visible damage or soft spots. The guy i got it from recommended i get it serviced before i take it out. I noticed the throttle cable has rust on it, the neighbour said it could last a year or it could last a day. Any reccomendations???

I hear realy good things about Cooperoo Marine and they are nice and close to Lota.

Other than them, AFO has a member who is a Mechanic and fixes/Services a lot of the fellahs boats from off here. He's name is Rumrunner send him a pm, he may be able to help you out?
