queensland Moreton Bay at the moment

G'day all,

Today it's been exactly 6 weeks Dad and I haven't taken the boat out!! However, due to me now on holidays, we are planning to fish sometime this week. Also, the Minn Kota is getting fitted today so will be able to test it out this week! Now, just a few questions... How is the bay fishing with the rain? The plan was to hit the beacons along Moreton in search of some Mackerel, Tuna or maybe a cobia. Is there a specific spot that's holding some good bait at the moment? Planning to throw slugs and float down pillies/live baits to see which produces the goods. Should be able to present the lures and bait perfectly now with the leccy. Have there been reports of spotties yet?

Been lots of schoolies round the beacons, as well as loads of baby kingies hanging round in big schools..

I've been high speed retrieving Zman 5' Streakz in bubble gum and its been working really well, also chucking surface around them early morning
