Hey guys not had a post for a while, off to hinze dam today with the wife, flick around a few different types of lures and see what we can bag. Hopefully have Some photos to post later this afternoon. If anyone has any good experiences and most of all spots at hinze please feel free to share,

Didn't even get a bite, although the wife caught a decent sized eel, that I pulled in for her!

Fishing from the bank at both ramps is fairly slow especially with the dam at full supply level. I quite often see people park their cars at Shingles Gully and Black Shoot creek near the western ramp and walk in. I have never done it but due to their frequency they must do ok. I would imagine early morning and dusk would be the best times. Glen S has been doing ok fishing towards the edges in his boat.

If you want a boat trip I quite often put up decky spots.

Hey @rayke1938 thanks for the advice, I only threw in a line as we were having a family BBQ there and couldn't resist taking a rod with me. 

I would love to jump on board with you at some point! Learn a few different techniques from you more experienced fisherman!
