If you're born down south ( mexico ) you'll be right, a croc would spit them back out, but if you're QLD born you're in trouble.

No good saying " but " when a 3mtr lizards got you by the back leg doing a roll with you. Just be careful. They reckon you should be no closer than 5 metres from the waters edge. If we don't get a fishing report from you from Airlie I know to drop some flowers at the waters edge near the marina.

Mate, there's some serious crocs at Prosepine, there's was a big croc farm there. The Barefoot Bushman used to run it, he had a croc called Charmaine or something and it bit off his hand. But, yeah there are lots of crocs in the waterways there. Don't be frightened of them just be wary any where near the water. I think that croc was called Charlie and they found it building a nest one year and changed it's name to Charmaine.
