resolved same screen twice

i'm new to the comp age so bare with me please, when i open up to the afo web site, and say click onto forum, it comes up and i read 2 lines of a story, and the [forum] onening page appears again for the 2nd time, this happens with everything i get into, all i can tell you is i'm using the windows xp stuff, but it is an old comp, but never had this prob b 4..
