Fishing advice - Western Sydney

Hi All,

I'm heading down south for a few weeks from next week. Will be staying at Kurrajong which is in the Richmond/Windsor area. Appreciate any advice on places to target - fresh or salt (I ain't picky!) - will have transport so don't mind traveling.

The Hawkesbury river is nearest, I would say anything East of Wisemans ferry on the river would be good. Brooklyn is a good area.

Dito to what daveylad said they get some bigjew fish in the hawkesbury river along with all other stury species and head out to the colo river some wild bass in the upper reachers.good luck

Righto, well I'm here and in need of a fish. Got my permit online (luckily someone mentioned that!) and good to go. Keen to hit up the Hawksbury but trouble being I have no idea where abouts to head towards (landbased of course) and little clue as to what i'm actually fishing for and what I should be fishing with... any advice much appreciated.
