Hey All,

This may make me sound like a bit of a goose but I was wondering if its possible to mount my 44lb water snake which is a transom mount to the bow of my tinnie. Has anyone done this ? Would be heaps better to get a bow mount leccie i know but im a struggling apprentice

Yeah can be done, just have to make an appropriate bracket, but I would use a bow mount bracket first then make a detachable bracket for your transom mount, that way when you have the money your set to go with the bow mount.

I cut a block of wood at an angle to make a flat mount for a transom mount on my little boat. I also turned the top 180 degrees so the handle faces back to the stern, and can steer it with my knees when hooked up.
