Bass both ways

A few months back I caught a tagged bass that had traveled 130klm fromthe Brisbane river, out into the ocean, up the north pine,into the south pine and up to Eatons crossing.On 16/4/2005 it was 24.5cm, on 25/3/2011 it was 32cm

I have just received a cert for a bass I tagged in north pine dam on 22/5/2010 at 41cm which was caught in the Brisbane river on 21/3/2012 at 42cm it had traveled 90klm over dam wall out to ocean up brissy river.

So as you can see the good old bass doesnt mind a swim.

thats awesome! i have caught a couple of late and seen they have a tag on them, but i cant read it? and i dont want to handle them too much, is there an easier way ? how do you do the tagging process?

If you catch a tagged fish phone 1800077001 with the date,place caught, length full and fork and tell them if you released it or not. I usualy write down the details and phone when I get home or I ring the wife at home and get her to write down the details. Money has been a bit short at the moment for taggs but with the new team in power there might be a change.
