New Reels

Hi All.

I wnt shopping this morning, just to have a look if there was anthing new.

Had a look at some reels.

Picked up a Okuma Ceymar 30. Nice reel. Shoud suit my smaller rods.

Had a look at a Okuma Ceymar 55. Looked ok. Both reels come with a 10 year warranty. Thats a plus.

Paid $200 for both.

Sick of paying big money for big name reels.

Try them out when it stops raining.

I have 4 Okuma Epix reels still going well after almost 20 years.....I have upgraded to carbon fibre drags as i do with all my reels.

Keep an eye out for salt or corrosion around the bail....the only issue I have had so far.

I have an Okuma Coronado CDX which I’ve found to be a excellent reel.
