  1. Some dollars there, You can wander around all day in those places can't you? Thanks for the pics Andrew, never get to go to those sort of shows.
  2. I think from memory they fed that mob with fishes and a loaf of bread.
  3. Yeah, those tie downs look the goods Matt. Hope everything performs as required, good luck. Give us a report after test done.
  4. That's a naked surf board.. That's a decent catch Steve. Couple of feeds there, and a day out with your boys.
  5. I'll have to buy the house next to you and pop over for a feed now and then.
  6. I used to have a camo knife once, but can't find it anymore.
  7. Paint it in camo and nobody will find your secret spots.
  8. Probably won't talk/wave to us pesants after you launch that (ship). Will be a nice boat.
  9. Sounds like close to it Brett, but if closed season started 15th of month and you caught bag limit on 14th you'd have a case wouldn't you?
  10. I'd tell you very best mate ( hope it's not Hamish ) not to worry. I think you'd be safe from the nasty fisho's
  11. Yeah Matt, Same strap I use, go around the chassis and hook back around the strap itself, same with the rachet end. Mine are rated 2 tonne. They are the proper transport straps buy them at any Truckline store.
  12. Why do you need the tie down bracket, just run your tie down strap straight around the 70x50. I just use a 50 mm webbing rachet strap on mine straight around chassis. You never drive around with the trailer ( only at the ramp ) so the strap is always done up. What size motor do you have, does it need a bracket?
  13. People shouldn't be allowed to post threads like this. It makes me hungry as.
  14. Thanks Andrew, a few pics would be good for those of us who don't live down that way.
  15. You can't complain about that for a day out. Yeah, the weather forecasters have a bit of learning to do to get it right yet. It amazes me how so many different forecasters can give different forecasts. You'd think there would be only one forecast for an area. That's a feed or three.
  16. That's a good tally Ray. Looks like it's a bit nippy there in the morning.
  17. That's a good report Hamish. Lunch fresh outta the water and that's a nice flattie. Your mates miss the best part of the day sleeping in like that, they don't know what they're missing.
  18. There's a lot of welding in that job.
  19. Yeah, it's funny how they do that isn't it. I suppose they're happy.
  20. Just a habit, I check my front bearings on the ute every month just checking by rocking the top of the wheel you'll feel any looseness.
  21. I disagree Greg, bearings should be checked every 6 months or more often when in and out of salt and always before a long trip. Might be just me but I've seen and had lots of failures a long way from home, might be OK if you only run local but they fail pretty quick.
  22. Was just a thought, have seen it happen.
  23. Yeah, even fractured inner casing of fuel pipe folding over and causing a blockage. How old is the fuel line.
