not sure if this is the right section but went under the highway bridge mon morning about 1/2 hour before high tide landed 8 bream in 2 hours but only 2 keepers (36 cm) using pillies and poddy mullet....not too bad for off the bank once u get past all the glass on the way down

8 bream in 2 hours, can't complain with that... that's a fish every 15 minutes to keep you entertained, even if they weren't that big.... nothing wrong with 26cm for bream though WD.

thxs bogan last time we went there got a 45cm flattie 32cm bream and a pike eel along with some small tailor

I used to fish there all the time, I loved it!! Never had too much trouble getting fish there!!

It's a great little spot that can be quite rewarding! We got some massive bust offs there at night time using live baits!! Great fun!!

Which hiway bridge is it, guys? Is it that big one past Strathpine? I've always thought of going down there but just didn't know how to (and well, just couldn't leave work).

Yep, there or over on the north bound shoulder are about the only places you can park around that area. But be warned, there are no standing signs all along both sides of the road and it's at least a $50 fine if you get caught. And the cops do constantly patrol that section of the highway.
