Hey fellas, Im thinking of putting 15lb Tufline on a 100 sized Shimano baitcaster, Do you think tufline is any good for baitcasters or is their better choices out their? Also will 150yards fill a 100sized baitcaster with a bit of mono backing?

Tufline is good for the price, should fill nicely with some backing.

Sunline super PE $60 for 300m is a lot thinner, smoother and ties awesome knots but i don't know how much you want to spend.

Can u get it in 150m?

I think so but i'm not sure how much it is sorry.

Edit: yep they do motackle sells 150m spools for $28.95 i'm sure tackle warehouse etc will have it too at a similar price

Ok so would u suggest that over tufline? I was thinking the thinner line might be more prone to birds nests?

Yeah probably but you'll also get further casting distance, depends on how confident you are using a baitcaster....20lb would be a bit easier to cast with and probably around the same thickness as the 15lb tufline but it's up to you.

But if you buy the tufline straight up i don't think you would be disapointed as it is good value for the money.

best advice ask the guys at the shop if you can have a feel of the different lines to see which one sits you better.

Yeah i think im heading towards tuff line, The thicker line would be better i think.
