rod repair

hi all

bringing some friends out fishing next week.

i've got to provide the fishing equipment but 2 of my 'set aside for friends' rods are missing the guides

any suggestions where I could go and get them replaced at a cheap cost?

Mate go to bcf or the tackle warehouse at cooprparoo they'll have all you need. I noticed last weekend that they sell the ferals / runners / guides seperately unlike a few other places where you have to buy a set. Im sure they'll have all the fancy thread (if you cant knock off some from the missus) and glue etc. Its not a real hard job to replace them.Just make sure you get rid of all the old one first so that the new one has a decent base to sit on.

If you take the rods into Tackle Warehouse at Cooparoo they have someone who does repairs for them. I knocked a guide off one of my rods and it was only like $5 to replace
