What rod to get?

hey guys lost my bream set up on sunday to a large fish had it sitting on the ground when zzzzzzz ploomp SHIT dived in after it to late :ohmy:

So now i have to get a new setup before our camping trip to the Sandon river on fridey.

Ive got $200 to $250 to spend on a new rod any ideas?

i was thinking maybe a berkley protactix but am unsure on the price maybe a daiwa advantage.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

if you hurry up amart all sports has the normal tcurve for $150 - thats the entire range of tournament ones and the sale finishs at the end of the month. think the advantages just fit into your budget and the berkley protactix are just outside of your budget. i had a hard time deciding what rod to get recently and just ended up getting the tcurve. good price good value and good rod too

where abouts did you lose the rod it may pay to drag the spot with a grapple hook

Mate, I just checked out motackle and they have the TD Zero rods for $249 and they're a really nice rod. Lighter than the advantage rods. With a $250 budget I'd be looking at one of them
