queensland Where to fish near Thornside.

A fellow Pom has just jacked his job in and I've got to pick him up next Wednesday morning from thornside for a fish. Any suggestions. I was thinking Raby Bay, where's good there? UBD refs would be great.

On a high tide there are whiting and maybe a few flathead around the little beaches and rock walls there but the place isnt very consistant. Sunset is best time.

Mate at the end of railway pde thorneside theres a clear bank & a half baked ramp. Theres an old house boat in the middle of the creek and between that & the bank there a sunken barge (it used to have a bouy marking its location have caught some nice little cod bream & a jack

D'OH!!!! He lives at ThornLands, not ThornSide!! So I'll probably go to Cleveland, as it's closer! Where's good to fish there? I've heard there are some vacant house plots to fish from, in the canal bits. Is this sus, or fair game? Any info much appreciated. Don't want to be driving around aimlessly when I could be fishing!!! (Is there any action at Beveridge Road just south of Thornlands??)
