queensland a day around the bay

so my dad decided that we should take the boat out this morning to try the beacons for mackeralss. got out to the ramp at around 8am and didnt get line into the water till around 9. first few hrs were crazy had hits all over. with the variety of mackeral and bonitoo. we were just using slugs throwing into the beacons and retrieving. the day was a very good day for us. lots of school macks and a couple spottys.

we ended up keeping 8 schools and 2 spottys. and a couple of bonito.

great work there, hopefully I'll get into some on saturday, were they schooled up arounda beacon or moving around?

i was using halco twister 30g. and they werent really in one spot but they hang around the beacon area.
