hey guys

heading out for a yak fish tomorrow morning. Haven't been out their for quite awhile. Anybody been out there lately, hows it looking, anyone had much luck?

Fished there yesterday am. Caught three plastic bags north of the lagoon. Also cleaned up heaps of takeaway and beer can rubbish near the kids playground. Good luck.

good luck dan! water was flowing over main weir last night so should have a nice flow! gets every thing moving

Good to hear that the water is moving over again- without flow-through that stretch of the river really suffers especially the turtles. I grew up very close to there- i was a scout at allawah and it's a beautiful part of brisbane and one that should be taken care of. Just watch out for deer if you're driving around there- a mature stag will make slightly more of a dint than your average wallaby.

Well, was good to get out and go for a yak fish. Mate and I hit the water at 8.am. Paddled to the weir and back fishin along the way. Wasn't the best of session's today, i managed 2 flattys (both on flickbaits), and also a decent catty.
