going up to gympie for work tomorrow is there any places to fish up there and what do they catch might take a rod,anyone know of fishing in this place.brad

Some good bass creeks about 20 mins out of town but closed season..... other than that big ass catties at the weir in town or massive eels :laugh: ... just go to the pub instead :laugh: And what happened to you on the weekend huh??? :dry:

Brad, that's my neck of the woods. Borumba dam has bass and togas, otherwise the mary river downstream of the dam should give you some fish too. And if your really keen, head out to rainbow beach/tin can bay for some saltwater.
